I have the honor to acknowledge their Lordatripotelegram

receipt of

dated the 22nd December stating that the Governor of Hong Kong

had telegraphed to the Colonial Office to the effect that dissatisfaction had been expressed that their Royal Highnesses Prince Albert

had

Victor and George of Wales been prevented by Lord Clanwilliam and Mr. Walton from receiving

addresses and entertainments Shore.
